Urban Courtyard Garden Hampstead

Small gardens can easily feel cluttered and overcrowded, creating an outdoor space which doesn’t feel relaxing. This small courtyard garden in North London was previously lacking in interest and so we designed a planting scheme using a limited palette of plants in calming whites and purples, ensuring that the space doesn’t feel too ‘busy’. Structural evergreen plants create interest throughout the year and the planting scheme was continued in bespoke wooden planters. Finally, matching garden trellis was added to the white washed walls to give extra privacy to this cosy Hampstead courtyard.
